Remarks for the honorable Minister Mr. Nawal Kishore Sah ‘Sudi’
The adverse impacts in the mountainous countries are higher than elsewhere in the world. Therefore, I appeal to all mountainous countries, development partners, research institutions and all, to allocate additional finance for adaption, increase the access over the finance and technology to discuss in the dialogue with open hearts and minds so that we can collectively address the climate crisis.
Address of Hon Chief Minister Mr Khagaraj Adhikari
Climate change is a diabetes to our mother nature but it can be cured through our proactive and urgent actions.
Let me recall the recent visit of Honorable UN secretary general Guterres in Annapurna region where he has stressed the need for the world to urgently consider the threat of climate change for the mountain ecosystem and mostly the mountain livelihoods, culture and traditions.
