Bhaskar Singh Karky is a Resource Economist now working as a Consultant and Coordinator for Asian Development Bank’s BARHKH initiative- Building Adaptation & Resilient Hindu Kush Himalaya. Before this he was at ICIMOD coordinating REDD+ Initiative in Bhutan, India, Myanmar and Nepal. He completed his PhD from Twente, the Netherlands in climate finance and masters degree from Reading University in UK in Agriculture Economics. He is an avid mountain biker and angler too.

Dr. Krishna Prasad Oli is the Chairperson of the National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC). A former member of the National Planning Commission and former advisor to the President of Nepal on Natural Resources and Environment, he has over 45 years of professional experience in development and environmental issues. His expertise spans environmental planning and management, implementation of multilateral environmental treaties, ecosystem management, and developing regional cooperation mechanisms in the Hindu-Kush Himalayan countries. Dr. Oli is skilled in capacity building, policy coordination, and networking with stakeholders at various levels.

Rojina Manandhar leads the Nairobi work programme-UNFCCC knowledge-to-action hub on adaptation and resilience at the UNFCCC secretariat. Her dedication lies in bridging the gap between knowledge and action in adaptation, focusing on enhancing adaptive capacity and resilience in various ecosystems and regions. In her daily endeavors, Rojina finds inspiration collaborating with policymakers, experts, and young professionals. With over two decades of experience, she has delved into the scientific, technical, and policy realms of climate change impacts, vulnerability, and adaptation. Her expertise spans across diverse themes such as water resources, mountain ecosystems, and biodiversity. Throughout her career, Rojina has made contributions both globally and within regions like South Asia, North America, and Europe.
