Advisory committee: Under the overall leadership of Rt. Hon. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda”, the chair of Environment Protection and Climate Change Management Council, Government of Nepal has formed an advisory committee for the dialogue led by the Honorable Minister and co-led by the Honorable state Minister of Ministry of Forests and Environment (MoFE). The members include representations of respected chief secretary and respected secretaries from the concerned ministries, including member of the National Planning commission, Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce, and Industries (FNCCI), and UN regional coordinator. The role of the advisory committee is to provide overall strategic guidance to the workshop.
Organizing Committee: The organizing committee is led by the respected secretary of Ministry of Forests and Environment and represented by joint secretaries of the concerned ministries, including head of selected development agencies. The role of the organizing committee is to provide overall coordination.
Secretariat: The workshop secretariat is led by the Joint secretary (s) of Ministry of Forests and Environment and composed by staffs from Climate change management division, including USAID Biodiversity (Jal Jangal), ICIMOD, ADB, FAO, UN agencies, OPM, IWMI and Mountain Partnership. The role of the secretariat is to provide managerial and logistics support for the workshop.
Expert Group: The expert group is chaired by the Joint secretary (s) of Ministry of Forests and Environment and represented by experts from different organizations. The role of the expert group is to engage in technical aspects of the workshop.
